Will & Jessamy's Queenscliff Wedding

Rewind the clock back to the 11th February this year....I was invited by my friend (and ex work colleague) Will and his gorgeous bride to be Jessamy, to assist their photographer Luka Kauzlaric with taking snaps of their big day in the lovely seaside town of Queenscliff.  


As it was my first 'official' outing as a wedding photographer, I was nervous but massively excited about the opportunity of really getting involved in the whole wedding deal.  Despite being a lawyer by day (and being pretty well versed in organisational skills, multi tasking, communication skills etc etc...and being up to my neck in stress) nothing quite prepares you for the 'wedding effect'...and by that I mean how intense the big day really is....time slips away and the pressure to get 'that shot' is on.  People, emotions, weather, all get tangled up in the bride and groom saying 'I do'.... In saying that, Will and Jessamy were awesome - such a relaxed couple who just wanted to have fun and get the formalities over with so they could tear up the dance floor with their mates... 


I'm pleased to report, I survived and I learned loads from Luka...the result: beautiful wedding, gorgeous couple, finished off with some lovely shots.
